River Legacy Parks in Arlington features over 10 miles of some of the most flowing, beginner-friendly off-road cycling trails in north Texas. It’s the perfect place to introduce a new rider to the sport, while also offering seasoned riders some optional challenges. The entire trail system is 10.2 miles total, including all the optional loops and technical features. This distance is easily reduced via the numerous bypasses that are well-marked throughout the trail system. Location signs are also found all throughout the trail, so make sure you have your cell phone in case you run into trouble and need to let emergency responders know your location.
To find the trailhead, enter the park from NW Green Oaks Blvd. Turn north into the park on Rose Brown May Pkwy and take the first left. Drive past the two pavilions on your right and continue on until you see the trailhead parking lot on your left. The trail begins and ends at this parking lot. The trailhead is located in the southwest corner of the lot.
