Trail Description
The L.B. Houston trail system consists of multiple loops of multi-use singletrack. There are three trailheads providing access to the trails:
- 10152 Wildwood Dr, Dallas, TX—provides access to the west side of the Wildwood Loop and the Railroad Loop
- 1366 California Crossing, Dallas, TX—provides access to the River Loop and to a fire road which leads south and gives access to the Lake Loop, the Dip Loop, and the Railroad Loop
- Sandy Lane, Irving, TX—provides access to the east side of the Wildwood Loop
The trail is beginner-friendly with a few intermediate trail features and a very short intermediate-level tech loop. The system is fairly well marked with signs showing turns, hills, and other features. This is a trail that is as hard as you make it—take it easy and slow or let it rip and go as fast as you can for an increased challenge.
