

Trail Description
The Trinity Trail system in Fort Worth features more than 40 miles of mostly paved surface, with some crushed limestone portions. The trail is walker, hiker, and bike-friendly and can be accessed via 18 separate trail heads spread across the length of the Trinity River and surrounding tributaries. Water fountains can be found all along the route, as well as easy access to streets and neighborhoods all along the way. Some portions of the trail are also equestrian-friendly.
The Trinity Trails connects 21 area parks, including Gateway Park. Future expansion of the trail will take the the path westward to Lake Worth and connect to Sansom Park.
