Horseshoe Trail features 5.4 miles of singletrack situated along the McPherson Slough of Grapevine Lake. The trail is very well marked with over 100 directional signs. Even still, it can be easy to get turned around in a few places, so it’s best to follow a rider familiar with the trail your first time out.
The majority of the trail is beginner-friendly, but there are some fairly technical climbs, roll downs, downhills, drops, and creek crossings that will trip up and harry an absolute beginner. So, the trail may be best rated as beginner-to-intermediate with some intermediate technical trail features along the way.
