


Trail Description
Gateway Park is a public park just east of downtown Fort Worth. The Gateway Park trail is composed of two separate sections—one on the west side of the Trinity River and the other on the east side.
The west side is 3.5 miles long, consisting of beginner-friendly flat terrain. You can access the west side directly from the trailhead parking lot.
The east side is about 5 miles long, and is of intermediate-level hilly terrain.
West side and east side can be looped together via a connecter along E. 1st St.

- West Loop (around Valle Circle) to
- Oxbow to
- Trinity Trail Connector to
- East Loop to
- Hill Trail to
- Buckin’ Bronco to
- River Trail to
- East Loop to
- E. 1st St Connector to
- Oxbow to
- Return to West Trailhead to
There is a trail bypass at the entrance to Buckin’ Bronco which will take you back to the East Loop. You can also bypass the River Trail and Buckin’ Bronco altogether by staying on the Trinity Trail Connector all the way to the E. 1st St Connector.
