Trail Description
Erwin Park trail is located within a public park on the northern outskirts of McKinney, TX. The trail features both tight and twisty sections within the trees and some fast, flowy sections across open fields. There are both climbing and some fast downhills, and there are numerous roots—particularly in the most technical sections.
There are easy (alternate) bypasses around many of the technical sections. The final section of trail is called the Expert Section. You can take an alternate route across a bridge to skip the hardest portions of the Expert Section. (Go left and take the bridge for the easy section, go right for the expert section.)
Public restrooms are available, but are closed during the winter months (November through March).
