Trail Description
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Mountain Bike Trail is a relatively short, advanced beginner to intermediate trail that runs clockwise for bicycle traffic, and counter-clockwise for hikers. The mountain bike trail is part of a greater, very large nature preserve that has both concrete trails and additional soft-surface hiking trails. The trail listed here is the only trail within the preserve where bicycles are allowed—all the other soft-surface trails are open to foot traffic only.
Though short and not terribly difficult, a beginner may find this trail daunting, and even an intermediate rider will find it somewhat challenging with rooty climbs and a few off-camber sections. Multiple laps of this trail make for a fairly strenuous workout.
